National Tulip Day in Amsterdam, with this year's guest DJ and producer Hardwell.
DJ Hardwell will baptize his own tulip on Saturday, January 20, 2024, National Tulip Day.
The baptism takes place just before the official opening of the new tulip season at Museumplein in Amsterdam. It is a tribute from TPN to Hardwell. He is one of the most popular DJs in the world, and his shows, like the tulip, are full of energy.
Tulips even have the property of 'dancing' a little in the vase. They continue to grow a bit, and each flower turns in the direction it wants. The new 'Hardwell' tulip, with a unique flower shape and color scheme, will be presented to the public for the first time on Tulip Day.
The tulip is personally selected by Hardwell and is offered by the Dutch cut tulip growers.
