The Allium Globemaster® is a hybrid between Allium Cristophii and Allium Macleanii.
The Allium Globemaster® is by far the largest bulb flower, consisting of more than 1500 small flowers and has a diameter of about 20 cm. The flower color is purple-violet.
The blooming begins at the end of May and lasts about four weeks, but even after blooming, this flower is a showstopper in the garden. The Globemaster reaches a height of about 90 cm and stands on a very strong stem that withstands any storm. What makes this Allium so unique is that the leaves remain beautifully green and glossy even during blooming, making it very suitable as a container or pot plant (most Alliums only bloom after the leaves have withered).
