15 bulbs for € 6.99

(syn. Scilla Campanulata, or Spanish Hyacinth)

Bell-shaped flowers in loose clusters. Requirements: Well-draining nutrient-rich soil. Plant bulbs at a depth of 6-10 cm. Hyacinthoides hispanica blooms with sturdy upright stems and reaches about 30 cm in height.

Origin: forests and rocks in Portugal and Spain. Suitable for naturalization.

Do not confuse with Scilla Non scripta! Hyacinthoides hispanica is a botanical species that is often confused with the common hyacinth (Hyacinthoides non-scripta).

When should I plant flower bulbs?

Spring-flowering bulbs such as tulips, daffodils, and scillas should be planted in the fall, from September to December, before the first frost. Early bloomers like snowdrops and irises should also be planted in the fall. The depth at which you should plant the bulb depends on the size of the bulb. For convenience, use this rule of thumb: bulb thickness x 2.5 = planting depth.

When to buy your fall bulbs? Order them easily online now and plant them this fall for a beautiful colorful garden or terrace in the spring! We always strive to offer the largest size and best quality for the best results.
