The Dahlia Alauna Clair-Obscur has a nice large flower, with a white-purple color.
The fimbriata dahlia resembles the cactus dahlia a bit. This flower has fringed petals. This creates a very beautiful effect. This dahlia is also known as the Deer Antler dahlia, which comes from its special leaves.
The roots of this beauty lie in Mexico. The Mexican Francisco Hernandez was a great fan of dahlias and began writing about them in 1615. This publicity led to dahlias being brought from Mexico to Spain. From there, the dahlia was introduced to Europe two hundred years later, in 1804, by botanist Andreas Dahl.
When the risk of (night) frost has passed, dahlia tubers can be planted.
