Dahlia topmix has many small but some flowers. The flowers have a diameter of about 2 to 3 cm and the plant grows up to 50 cm tall. The dahlia is a tuberous crop of Mexican origin that was brought from America to Europe around 1800. Here, the petal bulb was named after the Swedish botanist Andreas Dahl.
