A relatively recent species that is quite unique. This is mainly due to its spectacular height, 150 to 180 cm is not uncommon, allowing it to be beautifully combined with tall grasses. Beautiful compact flower. The color starts lilac but turns deeper purple as the bloom progresses. In the fading stage, the white stamens are clearly visible.
The faded flowers still have ornamental value for a long time, well into the autumn!
