The Amarine belladiva is the 'large-flowered' hybrid between Nerine and Amaryllis and is characterized by a rich, full bloom and a long shelf life, both in the vase and in the garden. Suitable for in the open ground (it is advisable to cover a bit in winter) and for pots, preferably in a sunny spot and well-drained soil.
In the first season after planting, Amarine still needs to get going, and sometimes (just like with a Peony) no flowers appear yet.
But the persistent one wins, and certainly in the following years, you can expect more and more flowers.
