An amaryllis that resembles a giant spider...
You can certainly say that about Cybister amaryllis Tarantula. It is a very striking and exotic type of amaryllis.
The bulb has few requirements and is easy to grow indoors.
Hippeastrum, derived from Hippeus (knight) and Astron (star), originally comes from South America. This is the flower commonly known as the "Amaryllis."

Cybister amaryllises are a unique, exotic variant of the Hippeastrum. They stand out due to their unusual spider-like shape with strikingly narrow, long petals and originally come from South America (mainly Bolivia and Argentina).

Place the bulbs in good potting soil in a pot that is at least 4 cm larger than the bulb from the edge of the pot.

Plant the bulb with about 2/3 of the bulb in the ground; the neck of the bulb should remain above the soil.

Amaryllis requires little care. Water the bulb regularly, turn the pot regularly to ensure the flower stems grow straight, and provide a nice light spot in your home.

Depending on the variety, the bulb blooms within 6 to 8 weeks and lasts for 3 to 6 weeks.
