How to plant:

In a pot: With the hollow side up, 1 – 2 cm deep and 15 cm apart, preferably plant in nutrient-rich potting soil.

A classic for any garden or balcony! Months of enjoyment from beautiful full flowers in various colors. Extra large size.

The name begonia comes from Michel Bégon (1638-1710). He was the intendant of San Domingo, and later governor of Canada. Michel Bégon was very active with plants. When Charles Plumier, a French botanist and monk, described the first Begonia in the early 1700s, he chose the name Bégon in honor of Michel Bégon.

If there is one plant that deserves the name garden bloomer, it is the Begonia. From June to mid-autumn, the Begonia is almost more flower than plant.

The begonia is a tuber that you can overwinter yourself and replant in the spring. The blooming period is also very long. The bloom lasts all summer until the first night frost occurs. Before severe frost occurs, you should remove the tubers from the ground. Store them frost-free in a dry place until spring and then replant them.

Plant these spring bulbs for a beautiful colorful garden or terrace in the summer!
