Superba’s are compact, very prolific bloomers and have large flowers. Thanks to their large flowers, they truly stand out in a mass planting. Currently not well known to the general public, but definitely worth it.
How to plant:
With the hollow side facing up, plant 1 – 2 cm deep and 15 cm apart, preferably in nutrient-rich potting soil.
Begonias are not hardy. They cannot withstand frost. Plant them in the spring, after the last chance of night frost. (Many people start the growth process indoors, 4-6 weeks before the plants are planted outside, so they have a head start and the flowers bloom earlier in the season).
