Cyclamen Coum
3 bulbs for € 5.18
Cyclamen coum is one of the most beautiful and exquisite flower species in the January garden. It is a bulbous plant that often blooms earlier than the snowdrops. They grow best under shrubs or light trees, where they easily come into bloom and multiply quickly. Hardy in the ground, but should be protected from extreme frost.
Plant the bulbs just below the ground, and fertilize them with well-rotted leaves. Plant them in groups... they will then form a beautiful carpet of color. Leave a distance of 10 to 15 cm between each bulb. Note: choose a spot that is well-drained, as cyclamen do not like wet feet.
Suitable for naturalizing.
Sometimes also called Cyclamen of Kos, although their original habitat was more in the region of Cilicia.
The main difference with the well-known Cyclamen Hederifolium is that this species blooms in spring, while Hederifolium blooms in autumn.
