Eranthis cilicica has larger flowers than Eranthis hyemalis, and the wrapped leaves are smaller. The leaf color is bronze green. The name Eranthis means in Greek er: which means early and anthos: a flower, thus a spring flower.
Plant the Eranthis in September-October preferably in a sunny spot at a depth of twice the height of the bulb. It is unclear which side is the top and which is the bottom. This does not matter, scatter the bulbs in loosened soil and cover them with a layer. It is best to plant immediately after purchase. Soak the bulbs in water for a few hours before planting. Suitable for naturalizing.
