Botanical Crocus sieberi ssp sublimis ‘Tricolor’
25 bulbs for € 5.25
(small-flowered)
Certainly one of the most fun and original crocuses. On a yellow base, there are white stripes with mauve-purple upper petals. Early blooming and slightly smaller than the classic crocus.
A crocus will create a beautiful colorful atmosphere in the garden early in spring. The crocus is a very well-known bulbous plant that quickly shows itself as the sun does.
Crocuses give the best results when you plant many together. A crocus can best develop in well-drained soil. Plant them at about 8 cm depth.
If you want to help bees and bumblebees very early in spring, plant crocuses in the fall! Crocuses are perennial plants with a good nectar and pollen content.
Within the group of spring-flowering crocuses, a distinction can be made between the botanical species and the large-flowered garden crocuses. Botanical crocuses have smaller flowers and bloom early in February. Garden crocuses bloom later.
You plant a crocus about 2.5 times deeper than the size of the bulb.
