A lovely variety with tightly packed, double flowers

Blue grape hyacinths don't ask much from you. You can plant them almost anywhere: in borders, under trees and shrubs, in rock gardens. Plant the bulbs in the fall between September and November. After they have bloomed in the spring, you can leave the bulbs in the ground. They multiply, so you will see more and more appear year after year.

The scientific name is Muscari, but they are better known as 'blue grape hyacinths'. It includes over 60 species and originally comes from the Mediterranean region, Central and Southern Europe, North Africa, and Central and Southwestern Asia. The blue grape is now also found in Northern Europe and the United States. The name Muscari comes from the Greek, moschos, musk, and refers to the scent.

Do you have no garden, but a terrace or balcony? Most species are suitable for pots, but the one most commonly used here is Muscari armeniacum.

Do you like to see a striking amount of color in your garden? Then plant groups of at least 25 blue grape hyacinths close together.

Do you love a cheerful mix? Combine blue grape hyacinths with, for example, Eastern anemone (Anemone blanda).

When to buy your fall bulbs? Order them easily online now and plant them this fall for a beautiful colorful garden or terrace in the spring! We always try to offer the largest size and best quality for the best results.
