With its fully double lemon-yellow petals, which later turn creamy white during blooming and resemble carnations, Narcissus Ice King is a wonderful addition to the flower border in spring.
Variety from 1984 (A.P. van de Berg-Hytuna, Netherlands), created partly by crossing with the well-known Narcissus Ice Folies.
Each bulb can produce 2 or 3 stems in the first year, creating an immediate beautiful effect.Always plant them in groups of at least 5 close together to get the best effect.
The name Narcissus comes from Greek mythology. Narcissus was the son of the river god Kephissos and the nymph Liriope.
