The Darwin Hybrid Tulips are known for their long, strong stems, making them ideal for cutting and placing in a vase. This variety blooms in the middle of the season (April/May). What makes this tulip extra special is that some can return for multiple years.
After blooming, pinch off the faded flowers or remove the entire stem so that all nutrients go to the bulb. Leave the leaves until they are completely wilted.
